Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced 6G Welding Foreman to supervise pipe welding activities on site. The candidate must have strong knowledge of 6G welding, welding procedures, and quality standards. Experience in shutdown / oil & gas / piping projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage 6G welders and welding crew on site
• Ensure welding is done as per WPS, drawings, and project specifications
• Coordinate with QC/QA for weld inspection, NDT, and documentation
• Monitor welding productivity, quality, and daily progress
• Ensure proper joint fit-up, alignment, and welding sequence
• Control welding consumables, electrodes, and tools
• Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures and PTW system
• Prepare daily welding reports and manpower allocation

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in pipe welding supervision / foreman role
• Strong experience in 6G welding (Carbon Steel / Stainless Steel preferred)
• Must understand:
• WPS / PQR
• Weld symbols
• Isometric drawings
• Fit-up and piping fabrication
• Knowledge of NDT requirements (RT, UT, PT, MT) is a plus
• Experience in Oil & Gas / refinery / shutdown projects preferred

Preferred

• Valid 6G welding certificates (CS / SS)
• Qatar/GCC experience
• Immediate joining
