6th-12th Grade Math Tutor (2 YRS MATH TEACHING EXP REQ'D)

Only considering candidates with 2 years of middle or high school math teaching experience for this position. The ideal candidate must have a certification in teaching or have ample experience tutoring at the secondary level. Must be able to teach Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, and Geometry.

Duties

• Deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
• Utilize learning technology to enhance the educational experience.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to track progress and address any concerns.
• Provide educational support in various subjects within secondary education.
• Foster a love for learning by encouraging student participation and enthusiasm.

Qualifications

• Available to tutor weekdays 5pm-8pm.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and parents.
• Familiarity with learning technology tools that can enhance instruction.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
