6th Grade Science Teacher - Leave of Absence - Maple Avenue Middle School

The Saratoga Springs City School District has a vacancy and is now accepting applications.

This is a leave of absence position from October 2025 through June 2026, teaching 5 sections of Grade 6 Life Science.

• An understanding of the New York State Learning Standards, and a willingness to collaborate with Professional Learning Teams as necessary
• Experience teaching/working at Middle School level preferred
• Preferred candidate has a positive attitude towards learning and is able to build good relationships with children, teachers and staff at school
• Organized, detail oriented with the ability to multitask and be flexible
• Calm demeanor, pleasant, compassionate and collaborative
• Salary per SSTA Contract
