7-12 Grade Physics and Engineering Teacher

Job OverviewHaas Hall Academy Bentonville is seeking candidates interested in teaching high school science classes with an emphasis on Physics and Engineering to inspire and educate academically motivated students. The ideal candidate needs a strong foundation in Physics and Engineering concepts, and a commitment to nurturing students’ academic growth through innovative instructional methods, and engaging classroom experiences. This is a paid position with a starting salary of $50,000 a year for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Duties

  • Develop comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that incorporate concepts such as trigonometry, geometry, calculus, algebra, and discrete math to enhance understanding of physics and engineering principles
  • Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on laboratory activities on Physics and Engineering concepts to deepen scientific comprehension
  • Mentor students on research projects, laboratory experiments, or science fairs to develop their scientific research skills and passion for discovery

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Education or a related STEM field; AP Physics experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively across diverse backgrounds
  • Experience teaching or tutoring
