7.5t Driver Full Time

We are a specialist car storage and logistics company based in Pease Pottage, West Sussex and we have an exciting opportunity for a class 1 driver to join our small team.

We are looking for someone who understands that being a driver constitutes far more than just driving the vehicle. We pride ourselves on offering a taylor made solution and executing it in such a way that the customer will always feel very well looked after, from enquiry right through to completion of works. So it is important that all our drivers are customer focused, well presented and happy to help in any reasonable way. We often send cars into Europe so flexibility and availability are important.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Loading, unloading and delivering cars and kit
• Monitoring condition of your vehicle, inclusive of basic maintenance and good housekeeping
• Serving customers with service to suit their expectations
• Liaising with the office to update on progress
• Other duties as may be required by the business

Requirements:

• Category C1 Licence (required) and relevant/up to date CPC
• Drivers Digital Tacho card
• Must have a clean background check
• Right to work in the UK
• Passport
• Excellent customer relations skills
• Can do attitude presenting solutions as opposed to problems
• Desirable
• Clean driving licence
• Experience driving abroad
• Experience loading and securing cars
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and European legislation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £32,000.00 per year
