Role Description:

The Summer Intern, Sewer-Maintenance and Repair will assist with storm and sewer collection systems, receive training on system mechanisms, and support field crews with GIS updates and development of training materials.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

As a summer Intern, we will provide you with:

  • A real-world experience on exciting projects
  • Connections with recent college graduates and our company leaders
  • Performance of assignments under the direct supervision of a department lead
  • Performance of other work-related duties as needed

Your essential functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Support field crews working on storm and sewer collection systems.
  • Update GIS systems based on field observations.
  • Develop training materials for sewer system operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Required Experience:

Willingness to learn and ability to work outdoors.

Minimum Education Requirements:

Must be currently enrolled fulltime in an undergraduate or graduate program

Must have at least 30 credit hours complete

Must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average

Required Skills:

Proficient in written and spoken communication.

Required Licenses & Certifications:

Not applicable

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and wear safety gear.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Preferred Experience:

Experience with GIS systems.

Preferred Education Requirements:

Preferred Major: Civil or Environmental Science.

Basic knowledge of engineering principles.
