911 Dispatcher

Under general supervision of the Chief of Police, the Dispatcher is responsible for receiving, managing, prioritizing and responding to all emergency calls, including 911 calls for police, fire and medical assistance requests. Will transmit messages using telephone, radio or other equipment to dispatch appropriate unit/department and maintain a variety of automated records.

Requirements:

TCOLE Telecommunication Certification Preferred/ or

Completion of High School or equivalent, must hold High School Diploma or GED

Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License

Must be a U.S. citizen whether by birth or naturalization

Must have a clean criminal background

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.27 per hour
