Dispatcher / Jailer

Duties:
- Answer multi-line phone system including 911
- Receive and transmit on radio channels
- Complete training - mainly onsite
- Dispatch for Law/Fire/EMS

- Supervise and monitor inmates' activities, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations
- Conduct searches of inmates, cells, and common areas for contraband
- Escort inmates to and from various locations within the facility
-Perform all jail duties: booking, releasing, fingerprinting, distribute medications and cleaning/laundry
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must pass a background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to negotiate and deescalate conflicts
- Ability to analyze situations quickly and make sound decisions
- Basic data entry skills for maintaining records
- Excellent phone etiquette
