911 Emergency Dispatcher

A formal application MUST be completed and submitted via email or in person at the Scott County Emergency Communications Center to be eligible for employment consideration.

Formal applications can be picked up at the Scott County Auditor's Office or requested via email.

Currently seeking candidates for a Part Time (prn-as needed) position.

Paid training with our team of 911 professionals.

Nights and Weekend availability is preferred.

Duties

Including but not limited to;
- Receive emergency calls and gather necessary information
- Assess the nature of the emergency and prioritize response
- Dispatch appropriate emergency personnel to the scene
- Provide pre-arrival instructions to callers when necessary
- Maintain accurate records

- Monitor and track the status of ongoing calls for service
- Coordinate communication between emergency responders and other agencies
- Provide support and guidance to callers in high-stress situations
