StarBright Centers is a mission-driven ABA therapy company committed to empowering children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and developmental challenges. Our clinics combine evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis with a supportive, fun environment and strong parent involvement.

We are expanding into new communities, and as the founding Clinical Director of our Harrisonburg clinic, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the culture, clinical programs, and long-term success of the center. This is not just another leadership job — it’s a startup leadership opportunity where your ideas, vision, and approach will directly influence how the clinic operates from day one.

Summary of the Role

The Clinical Director (BCBA) oversees all clinical operations within the clinic and sets the standard for clinical excellence. You will lead a team of BCBAs and Registered Behavior Technicians, guide families through their ABA journey, and ensure that services meet the highest ethical, quality, and regulatory standards.

Unlike established centers, this role offers you the freedom to implement your vision for clinical care, team structure, and parent engagement while benefiting from the backing, resources, and stability of our larger network.

Key Responsibilities

● Build & Lead: Establish clinic processes, design treatment models, and create a collaborative culture that reflects your leadership style.

● Clinical Leadership: Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans, assessments, and evidence-based ABA programs.

● Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and supervise BCBAs, RBTs, and interns; provide training and professional growth opportunities.

● Family Engagement: Conduct parent trainings, progress reviews, and create strong family-clinic partnerships.

● Quality Assurance: Monitor client outcomes, ensure compliance with BACB standards, HIPAA, and state regulations, and oversee documentation and billing.

● Clinic Growth: Build referral networks, collaborate with leadership on expansion strategies, and contribute to the scaling of services.

Minimum Qualifications

● Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.

● Current BCBA certification and eligibility to practice in Virginia.

● 3–5 years of ABA experience with at least 2 years in supervisory or clinical leadership roles.

● Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and the ability to build and motivate a team.

● Startup mindset: willing to be hands-on, adaptable, and visionary in shaping a new program.

Preferred Qualifications

● Familiarity with EHR and practice-management systems.

● Demonstrated success in staff development and quality assurance initiatives.

What We Offer

● Competitive salary.

● Opportunity to shape a new clinic with your vision and leadership.

● Small caseloads supported by dedicated RBT teams.

● PTO, paid holidays, Health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k).

● A collaborative workplace culture that values ethics, innovation, and professional growth.
