Position Overview

We are seeking a Part-Time ABA Support Specialist to support our clinic operations and clinical team. This is an entry-level friendly role with paid training provided, ideal for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in ABA, child development, and healthcare support.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth daily clinic operations while supporting both staff and families.

Position Details

• Location: Lompoc, CA (In-Person)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday 3pm-7:30pm
• Classification: part-time, Non-Exempt
• Supervisor: Operations Administrator
• Introductory/Probation Period: 90 days

Key Responsibilities

• Open the clinic and ensure therapy rooms are clean, organized, and ready for sessions
• Greet clients and families in a warm, professional manner
• Manage check-in/check-out of therapy materials (toys, tablets, etc.)
• Cover breaks and lunches for Behavior Technicians (BTs)
• Provide session coverage or substitute for canceled ABA sessions as needed
• Assist with diaper changes and toileting in accordance with care plans and company policies
• Support Behavior Technicians during sessions when needed
• Assist with administrative and front office duties
• Answer phone calls, route inquiries, and communicate messages promptly
• Coordinate scheduling logistics (confirm sessions, manage pickups, etc.)
• Communicate effectively with both English- and Spanish-speaking families

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s preferred but not required)
• Interest in ABA, child development, psychology, or healthcare
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable supporting children with varying needs
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
