ABA Therapist

Job Description

Pay: $18-$19 per hour (dependent on education and opportunity for growth)

Employment Requirements:

• Minimum of 48 units in child development, psychology, or other related field
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background Clearance
• TB Clearance and Immunization records
• Ability to give one year commitment
• Ability to complete the requirements for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within one year of employment
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Able to lift 25lbs as well as bend, sit, stand, twist, and squat
• Ability to work afternoons/evenings and Saturdays
• Actively work with kids for up to 2-4 hours

Job Duties:

Provide 1:1 behavioral therapy to child with Autism Spectrum Disorder in their home setting. Implement individualized behavior support plans and developmental curriculum which are designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Therapists are assigned multiple clients in the program and meet with them on a weekly basis in their home, school, or on a community outing. Therapists collect data on targeted behaviors during sessions and meet weekly with case managers to discuss the information that was gathered.
