ABA/PA/ Home Babysitter/ Nanny

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable nanny/ babysitter to care for our child mostly after school and weekends. The ideal candidate is a ABA therapist who has experience with special needs, someone patient, caring, passionate about working with children and someone to help a child meet his developmental milestones, help with homework, and house cleaning when needed.
Requirements:
- only serious Candidates; Special needs experience, BCBA/ ABA
-Must have authorization to work in U.S and be ready to fill out an application
-must pass background check
- must have CPR and First Aid Certification
-Will get paid via payroll system
- bonus pay after working for a year

-BCBA, experience or RBT is required.

-Teaching experience or Tutor is a plus

Other Requirements
Be at least 18 years old.

• Have a valid driver’s license and personal car.
• Be able to pass a background check.
• Have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Must have experience with special needs.
• Developing plans to correct, maintain or improve certain behaviors
• Helping child set and meet behavior goals
• Keeping detailed notes of child meetings and progress
• Giving tools such as reinforcement and conditioning to encourage positive behaviors or correct aggressive, harmful or antisocial behaviors
• Meet the children’s needs for food, water, snacks, etc.
• Carry the child to and from the car for their daycare.
• Observe children’s interactions and feelings.
• Communicate with parents about activities and day’s activities.
• Maintain a clean and tidy bedroom for the children to stay there during the day.
• Follow health and safety standards according to OSHA and local regulations.
• Attend to any needs of parents such as picking up child from daycare or car, or filling snacks for family dinner.
• Communicate with parents regularly about their children’s progress and activities.
• Perform other supportive childcare duties as needed (e.g., help with homework, prepare meals, etc.)
