ABC Columbia News-WOLO TV, has an immediate opening for an experienced Morning/Noon News Anchor in the capital city of Columbia, SC.
Must be able to anchor, report and produce newscasts.
This weekday position requires candidate to work with a producing team to engage viewers during Good Morning Columbia, in the studio and live in the field.
In addition, this position will also serve as Anchor and Producer for the Noon News. Must be able to independently produce newscasts, edit video content and write content for website and social media platforms.
The qualified candidate should be a newsroom leader with excellent storytelling, producing and live skills.
We are looking for a talented, hardworking professional who can anchor, engage, write, edit and work under pressure.
2 years anchoring, producing experience required. Degree in Journalism or communications preferred.
