AC Duct Foreman

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead duct installation teams, ensuring that work is carried out efficiently and on schedule.
• Interpret and execute HVAC drawings, duct layouts, and specifications.
• Plan daily work activities, allocate manpower, materials, and tools as required.
• Oversee fabrication, installation, insulation, and alignment of GI, PI, and flexible ducts.
• Ensure proper installation of accessories such as dampers, diffusers, grilles, and insulation materials.
• Coordinate with other trades (electrical, plumbing, civil) to avoid conflicts during installation.
• Inspect ongoing and completed work for compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
• Report progress, material shortages, and issues to the site engineer or project manager.
• Maintain site discipline, safety practices, and housekeeping.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and project specifications.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Technical Diploma / ITI Certificate in Air Conditioning, Mechanical, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in HVAC duct installation, including at least 1 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Knowledge:
• Familiar with HVAC drawings and ducting standards (SMACNA, DW144, etc.)
• Experience with GI, PI, and flexible duct systems.
• Understanding of site safety and quality requirements.
