We are seeking a passionate and professional Part-Time Bartender who takes pride in their craft and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences in an upscale environment.

Position Summary

The Bartender is responsible for providing outstanding guest service while preparing and serving beverages that meet AC brand and Marriott standards. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming, refined, and memorable lounge experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service at all times in a warm, attentive, and professional manner
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to AC brand recipes and presentation standards
• Follow all AC brand trainings, service culture expectations, and Marriott brand standards
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and menu offerings
• Make thoughtful recommendations and upsell when appropriate
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area
• Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS system operations
• Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible beverage service
• Comply with all local, state, and federal alcohol regulations
• Assist with bar setup, breakdown, and inventory management
• Work collaboratively with hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Maintain professionalism and composure in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience required (hotel or upscale lounge preferred)
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized under pressure
• Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude

Required Certifications

• Valid Food Handler Certification (ServSafe or equivalent)
• Valid Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification in accordance with California state law
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required certifications

Availability Requirements

• Must have flexible availability
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Schedule may vary based on business demands and special events
