Position: AC Plant In-Charge (Weaving Electrojet)

Job Purpose

To manage and supervise the weaving department equipped with Electrojet air-jet looms, ensuring smooth plant operations, optimum production, quality standards, machine efficiency, and workforce management while maintaining safety and cost control.

· Strong expertise in Electrojet AC air-jet looms

· Supervise operation, setting, and maintenance of Electrojet AC air-jet looms.

· Knowledge of AC plant systems (compressors, chillers, AHU, dryers, pipelines)

· Handle electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting.

· Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems

· Basic computer and reporting skills

· Maintain daily operation and maintenance logs.

· Prepare reports on breakdowns, energy consumption, and plant efficiency.

· Coordinate with production, engineering, and stores departments.

· Supervise operators, technicians, and helpers.

· Plan shift-wise duty allocation.

· Train staff on safe operation and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Textile Engineering or relevant field

ITI with strong weaving experience may also be considered

Experience

Minimum 6-8 years as In-Charge in AC Plant and on Electrojet air-jet looms
