AC Technician

About the Role

We are seeking skilled A/C Technicians to support maintenance operations on a major hospital facility in Qatar. The role involves installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems in a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, service, and repair split units, package units, chillers, fan coil units, and related HVAC components.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including filter replacement, coil cleaning, and refrigerant level checks.
• Diagnose faults, replace defective components, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Interpret HVAC drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Follow safety and isolation procedures when working on electrical and refrigeration systems.
• Coordinate with other technical teams to ensure safe and efficient maintenance in clinical areas.
• Comply with site safety standards and hospital infection-control protocols.

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical Diploma/Certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Mechanical trade.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in installation, repair, or maintenance of A/C systems.
• Understanding of refrigerants, charging, evacuation, and leak testing procedures.
• Experience in hospital or large commercial facilities is preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use diagnostic tools.
