A/C Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning and HVAC systems
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC equipment
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Ensure work complies with local, state, and federal HVAC codes
• Test systems for proper operation and efficiency
• Respond to service calls and emergency repairs when required
• Maintain tools, equipment, and accurate service records
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Requirements

• Proven experience as an AC/HVAC Technician
• HVAC certification or license (as required by state/local regulations)
• Strong knowledge of AC systems, refrigeration, and electrical components
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable transportation and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Certification
• Experience with residential and/or commercial HVAC systems
• Knowledge of chillers, VRF systems, or ductwork installation
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call shifts
