Position Overview:

We are seeking passionate, creative, and caring educators with experience working with students from 3rd grade through college. Our Coaches work one-on-one with students in their homes or virtually, helping them with their academic needs and Executive Function skills. If you have experience with learning differences such as ADHD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Processing Delays, or ASD, we want you to join our team of dedicated educators. This is a 1099 independent contractor position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one coaching to students from 3rd grade through college, in-person with some virtual sessions.
• Develop students’ Executive Function skills, including organization, time management, and study strategies using the Illuminos EF Proprietary Curriculum.
• Emphasize emotional intelligence and Executive Function skills to help students become more independent and responsible.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, school counselors, case managers, therapists, and other educational and medical professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, school counselors, case managers, therapists, and other educational and medical professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
• Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and the Illuminos leadership team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (required); preferred degrees in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or related fields.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with students (experience with learning differences preferred).
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong rapport with students and families.
• Willingness to work in students’ homes and virtually.
• Commitment to a minimum of one year with Illuminos.
