Key Responsibilities:Academic Coordination
- Implement GSEB curriculum for Pre-Primary and Primary (English Medium).
- Prepare and monitor yearly academic plans, lesson plans, and syllabus completion.
- Ensure age-appropriate teaching methodologies and learning outcomes.
- Support teachers in curriculum delivery, assessments, and classroom management.
- Monitor students’ academic progress and recommend interventions where required.
Teacher Supervision & Support
- Guide, mentor, and supervise teachers on academic and pedagogical practices.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
- Coordinate teacher training, workshops, and orientation programs.
- Ensure discipline, punctuality, and professional conduct among staff.
Assessment & Evaluation
- Plan and monitor periodic assessments, worksheets, and examinations.
- Ensure proper maintenance of assessment records and student portfolios.
- Analyze results and prepare academic reports for management and parents.
Student Development
- Promote holistic development including academics, values, discipline, and life skills.
- Address student behavioral or learning concerns in coordination with teachers and parents.
- Ensure child safety, well-being, and inclusive practices.
Parent & Communication
- Coordinate and participate in parent-teacher meetings.
- Address parent queries related to academics and student progress.
- Communicate school academic policies effectively.
Administrative & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GSEB norms and school policies.
- Maintain academic documentation and records.
- Coordinate with other departments for events, activities, and school functions.
- Assist the Principal in academic audits and inspections.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Education (B.Ed / ECCE preferred)
- Strong understanding of GSEB curriculum (Pre-Primary & Primary)
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
Experience:
- Minimum 5–7 years of teaching experience
- At least 2–3 years in a leadership / coordinator role preferred
