About the Role

We're looking for Academic Coaches to join our team and grow with us long-term. You'll carry a caseload of college students, meeting with each one weekly via Google Meet to help them build the executive functioning skills they need to succeed in college and beyond. This isn't tutoring. It's coaching. You're helping students understand how they think, work, and learn, and then giving them the tools to do it better. If you're passionate about student success and believe in the power of showing up consistently for young people, we'd love to meet you. This is a part-time position.

What You'll Do

You'll be a guide, a skill-builder, and a steady source of support for your students. In your weekly sessions, you'll teach and coach executive functioning skills like time management, task initiation, focus, organization, and follow-through in a way that's completely personalized to each student. You'll help them develop self-awareness around how they learn and where they get stuck. You'll build accountability systems that actually work for how their brain works. And you'll support them in creating routines, study habits, and goal-setting practices they can carry with them long after coaching ends. You'll also complete session notes, Weekly Academic Plans, and recap emails after each session, and show up as an active, engaged member of our small coaching team.

Who You Are
✓ You have experience working with college students in a coaching, mentoring, or academic support role
✓ You understand executive functioning and how it shows up in real life for college students
✓ You're a natural teacher and encourager who can explain a skill, model it, and motivate someone to actually use it
✓ You're warm, consistent, and dependable. Students and families are counting on you
✓ You're comfortable working independently in a virtual environment
✓ You hold a bachelor's degree; a background in education, counseling, psychology, or a related field is preferred

Schedule and Compensation
Sessions are conducted virtually via Google Meet on a consistent weekly schedule, same day and time each week per student. This is a structured commitment, not an on-demand role. Applicants must reside in Alabama or Georgia. Expect approximately 10 to 15 hours per week. Competitive hourly rate, paid monthly.
