Duties
- Design and deliver evidence-based academic interventions tailored to individual student needs, focusing on literacy, math, and overall subject mastery
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning technology tools to track student progress, manage instructional materials, and assess outcomes
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments to identify learning gaps and inform personalized instruction plans
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and school administrators to integrate intervention strategies within the broader curriculum
- Implement Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) frameworks to provide tiered levels of intervention based on student performance data
- Develop lesson plans aligned with assessment-driven instruction principles that promote active engagement and mastery of core skills
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, behavior management strategies, and intervention effectiveness for ongoing evaluation and reporting
Qualifications
- Proven experience in classroom management, lesson planning, and instructional design within elementary or early childhood education environments
- Strong background in curriculum development, assessment-driven instruction, and quantitative analysis for student progress evaluation
- Familiarity with Learning Technology Systems (LMS), educational compliance standards, and special education practices
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children with disabilities or diverse learning needs in inclusive settings
- Knowledge of literacy education, teaching math concepts, behavior management techniques, and conflict resolution strategies
- Experience working with students across preschool through elementary levels; prior private school or Montessori experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff; capable of providing clear academic advising and tutoring
- Ability to analyze student performance data to inform instructional adjustments; experience with early childhood development theories is advantageous
- Passion for working with children, childcare experience preferred; familiarity with Toddler care or preschool environments is beneficial
- Commitment to educational compliance and regulation standards; understanding of library services or physical education instruction is a bonus
