Job Summary and Description

Responsible for maintaining electrical and mechanical laboratory equipment and safety requirements. Assists students and faculty with the proper use of mechanical and electrical equipment, demonstrates procedures and monitors users in the safe and proper operation of advanced manufacturing and industrial technology equipment.

Minimum Education and Experience

• Associate's degree in related field working with electrical and mechanical equipment with at least twelve (12) hours in major field of study or a combination of education, training and experience that equates to the required degree.
• One year of related experience in the field of industrial or advanced manufacturing technology.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Three or more years of related experience in advanced manufacturing or industrial technology preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Licenses or certifications may be required depending on area of assignment.
