Job Objective: <p>The Academic Centre at the Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance is seeking a Part Time Lecturers to deliver the following undergraduate modules:</p><p>- Business Analytics, Applied Modelling and Prediction - University of London (DSBA)</p><p>- Advanced Statistics: Distribution Theory - University of London (DSBA)</p><p>- Advanced Statistics: Statistical Interference</p><p>- Management and Innovation of E-Business</p><p>- Statistical Methods for market Research</p><p>- Business Analytics and Business Analytics Coding</p>
Responsibilities: <ol><li>Teach and manage learning activities on a range of courses provided by BIBF and associated subjects </li><li>Assist the planning and implementation of a high quality curriculum, manage and monitor the quality and relevance of course content and methods of delivery</li><li>Review syllabus, textbooks, course materials, manuals, lecture notes, handouts, visual and other aids, document and record the course contents in alignment with BIBF’s policies and procedures</li><li>Follow up with students for any course submissions, case study analysis, assessment reports, etc. assigned to them as a part of the course/program requirement, verify and assess/grade all submissions </li><li>Act as an Assessor or internal verifier, if and when required</li><li>Conduct periodic assessments and (preliminary) exams to monitor students’ progress and performance. </li><li>Carry out a range of administrative tasks and provide support to other colleagues. </li><li>Invigilate exams in accordance with university regulations. </li></ol>
Requirements & Experiences: <ol><li>Bachelor’s degree in Relevant subject or equivalent is required</li><li>Minimum 5 years knowledge of the subject area combined with a broad subject background enabling contributions to teaching programs</li><li>Ph.D. /Master’s degree in a relevant subject or equivalent professional qualification is preferred</li><li>Minimum 3-5 years industry experience is desirable</li><li>Membership of a related professional body is desirable<br /><br /></li></ol>
