The Opportunity

We're seeking accomplished Project Mentors to guide high-achieving high school students through the independent projects and academic papers that set their top-tier university applications apart. You won't be lecturing—you'll be a guide and collaborator, helping a motivated student turn an idea into a polished, distinctive piece of work in your field.

This is a flexible, freelance role. You choose your availability, and you're only ever matched with students you've confirmed you can take on.

What You'll Do

• Mentor students one-on-one in Engineering, Science, or Medicine, from first idea to finished paper
• Help them scope a realistic project, build a timeline, and carry out meaningful research
• Guide their academic writing and shape a final paper they're proud to submit
• Align each project with the student's intended university course and broader academic profile
• Encourage independent, critical thinking at every stage

What We're Looking For

• A degree from a top 100 university (worldwide)
• Genuine expertise in Engineering, Science, or Medicine
• Prior experience working with high school students
• Strong academic writing and one-on-one mentoring skills
• Reliability, patience, and a real passion for helping young people succeed
• Excellent written and spoken English
