Academic Research Writer – Data Analytics / Actuarial Science / Statistics

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring Academic Research Writers with strong analytical and quantitative backgrounds to work on educational and research-based content across multiple subjects and niches.

This role is ideal for candidates from Actuarial Science, Financial Computing, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related analytical fields who are comfortable with research, data interpretation, and academic writing.

You will not be performing corporate data analysis or actuarial consulting. Instead, you will use your analytical thinking and subject understanding to create high-quality academic and research content.

Location: Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi (On-Site) OR Remote/Work From Home

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: PKR 40,000 – 70,000 per month (based on skills and writing ability)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Research and write academic content across various quantitative and analytical subjects
• Develop assignments, reports, case studies, and educational material
• Interpret and explain data, statistical concepts, and analytical methodologies clearly
• Conduct online research from credible academic and technical sources
• Review, edit, and proofread content for quality, structure, and accuracy
• Work on multiple writing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Collaborate with internal editorial and quality teams

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in:
• Actuarial Science
• Financial Computing
• Statistics
• Mathematics
• Economics
• Data Analytics
• Finance
• Or another quantitative/analytical field
• Strong research and analytical thinking skills
• Good written English and ability to explain concepts clearly
• Comfortable working with data, reports, calculations, and analytical topics
• Ability to learn and write on different academic and business-related niches
• Reliable internet connection and laptop (for remote candidates)

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with academic writing, report writing, or content development
• Familiarity with Excel, SPSS, R, Python, Power BI, or statistical tools
• Understanding of referencing styles (APA, Harvard, MLA, etc.)
• Prior freelance or research-based work
