Academic Success Coordinator (Part-Time, School Year)

Guiding Path Enrichment Center (GPEC) is a nonprofit organization serving K–12 students and adult learners across the CSRA. Our mission is to provide high-quality academic support, literacy development, and enrichment programs that empower learners to succeed.

Position Overview:

GPEC is seeking a highly organized and instructional-focused Academic Success Coordinator to oversee tutoring quality, tutor development, academic progress tracking, and volunteer training.

This is a part-time leadership role aligned with the school year (August–May), with a summer stipend opportunity to support curriculum planning and the Level Up Summer Learning Program.

Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Oversight

• Review tutor lesson plans for quality and alignment
• Provide instructional feedback and coaching
• Ensure progress reports are completed and updated
• Monitor assessment implementation and student growth tracking

Professional Development

• Plan and facilitate quarterly professional development sessions
• Develop training materials for tutors and volunteers
• Support parent workshops and community academic sessions

Volunteer Training

• Train and assign volunteers
• Clarify expectations and instructional protocols
• Ensure appropriate classroom support structure

Program Support

• Assist in preparing academic materials for summer programming
• Support curriculum development for the upcoming school year

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Georgia teaching certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of classroom teaching or instructional coaching experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Passion for community-based education

Compensation:

$25 per hour
15 hours per week (August–May)
Summer stipend available for program support

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
