Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive curricula tailored to varied learning needs, including adult education, literacy, and special education programs
• Deliver engaging lessons that incorporate innovative learning technologies and instructional design principles
• Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to organize course materials, track student progress, and facilitate online learning modules
• Provide personalized tutoring and support to students with diverse needs, including visually impaired or deaf education students
• Coach fellow teachers on effective classroom management techniques and instructional strategies to enhance teaching quality
• Design assessments and lesson plans that align with educational standards and learning objectives
• Foster a positive classroom environment through effective communication skills and culturally responsive teaching practices

Requirements

• Proven classroom experience with a strong background in teaching diverse student populations, including adult learners and students with special needs
• Expertise in curriculum development, instructional design, and lesson planning across multiple disciplines such as literacy education, language instruction, and special education
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning technology tools to support blended or online learning environments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively and collaborate with colleagues
• Knowledge of classroom management strategies that promote a respectful and productive learning atmosphere
• Experience working with students who are deaf or visually impaired, demonstrating sensitivity to their unique educational needs
• Bilingual proficiency is preferred to support bilingual or multilingual classrooms
