Academic Trainer & Content Creator

Training Delivery (Core Responsibility)

-Conduct teacher training sessions in Marathi across tribal regions of Maharashtra.

- Deliver pre-developed Math and Science content using activity-based, STEM-based, and real-life

contextual strategies.

- Use digital tools and technology (Google tools, videos, presentations, interactive platforms) for

effective training delivery.

Preparation and Orientation

- Attend training and mentoring sessions by KEF to understand training content and pedagogy.

- Prepare thoroughly to deliver sessions that are engaging and culturally relevant.

TLM and Content Support

- Adapt and use low-cost, locally relevant teaching-learning materials (TLMs) to clarify concepts.

- Provide feedback and suggestions for content contextualization.

Field Engagement & Reflection

- Interact with teachers and facilitators in the field to tailor training to their needs.

- Share feedback and best practices with the KEF team.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS:

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mathematics, Science with

B.Ed/D.Ed or a related discipline

SKILLS

-Fluent in Marathi (spoken and written) – mandatory.

- Strong familiarity with Maharashtra State Board (Balbharati) textbooks for Grades 3 to 10.

-Deep understanding of Maharashtra’s demographics,tribal communities, and the ability to use real-life examples from these contexts.

- Proficiency in using digital technology for training facilitation (Google Slides, videos, Zoom, LMS platforms like Moodle etc.).

-Experience in activity-based learning, TLM creation and STEM pedagogy.

-Willingness to travel extensively to the locations for training delivery.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

-Minimum 5 years of experience in teaching, teacher training in Mathematics or Science.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

NATURE OF JOB: Consultant/Project Based

LOCATION: Various districts across Maharashtra as per the need of the projects

HOURS OF WORK: Project Based

SALARY BAND: Project-based consultant honorarium as per KEF norms (monthly or deliverable-based), based on experience and role

WORKING CONDITIONS

Logistics and Support:

-Fooding and lodging during field visits will be arranged by Kotak Education Foundation.

-Trainers will be supported with:

-Pre-developed training content

-Mentoring and orientation sessions

-Access to required materials and field coordination support
