Full Job Description

Health Food Bar Team Member

Experience preferred.

Baristas responsibilities includes but does not limit to refilling stock, making teas, all mixed drinks, Prepping Fruits/Veggies, Make smoothies, acai bowls, training new baristas, assembling & handing ordered drinks to customers. They must maintain a clean, sanitary work environment as well as ensure high quality and proper presentation of all products going out to customer. Also includes general cleaning tasks of store which include refilling toppings, machine maintenance, wipe down tables, take out trash, etc. The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team.

Store Operations

• Restock when necessary
• Routinely cleans the bar area, floor, windows, take out trash, etc.
• Follows brand guidelines in environment and takes ownership in the store cleanliness
• Reports potential safety hazards to the manager on duty
• Reports all employee accidents to the manager on duty
• Informs the manager on duty of any operational inconsistencies

Product Knowledge

• Ensures that all customers are educated on our drinks and acai bowls.
• Maintains the highest quality, consistent performance
• Follows all recipes and procedures

Requirements

• Able to train new staff
• multi-task in fast paced environment
• Fast learner and may run errands, when needed
• Works special events, as needed
• Maintains positive company morale

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, walk, talk and hear
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Regularly required to handle food and hot beverages

Qualifications:

• Experience in retail / specialty store or food establishment preferred
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Well organized and detail oriented
• Register and cash handling experience
