Duties

• Prepare and assemble acai bowls, smoothies, and other menu items with precision and care, ensuring high-quality standards.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for seamless order processing and cash handling.
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu options, and upselling additional items to enhance sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food truck workspace, adhering to food safety guidelines and sanitation protocols.
• Manage food inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist with food handling duties during busy hours.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, give correct change, and balance cash drawers at shift end.
• Assist with bussing tables or cleaning work areas to ensure a tidy environment for both staff and customers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants, cafes, or grocery stores is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak times.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory counts.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous restaurant or retail experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
