Summary

Were looking for an Accessibility Designer to assess individuals functional abilities, evaluate home environments, and recommend ADA-compliant modifications that improve safety and independence. This role combines in-home assessments, customer consultations, and proposal developmentno supervisory duties.

The Accessibility Designers responsibilities are:

  • Conduct in-home evaluations and review medical documentation to identify accessibility needs.
  • Measure and assess homes for structural, safety, and ADA compliance.
  • Develop written recommendations and modification proposals.
  • Present solutions to customers, negotiate pricing, and close sales.
  • Build relationships with referral partners and service coordinators.
  • Maintain organized documentation, photos, and project files.

Position Requirements:

Bachelors Degree preferred, or 2+ years of experience in the construction field or in a related industry. Strong writing ability required, with ability to produce analytical evaluations of customer functioning ability and fully justified recommendations
