Accounat/General Account

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage all financial transactions for our automotive care business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing payroll, handling VAT filings, and providing financial reports to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Record Keeping: Manage daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• VAT Compliance: Ensure all invoices and financial records comply with UAE FTA regulations. Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns.
• Cost & Inventory Management: Track the cost of materials against service revenue to analyze profit margins.
• Payroll Processing: Manage employee salaries, commissions, and end-of-service benefits in accordance with UAE Labor Law.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts for management review.
• Software Management: Maintain and update financial data accurately using accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks).

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of accounting experience in the UAE. Experience in the automotive or service industry is a plus.
• VAT Expertise: Thorough understanding of UAE VAT laws and FTA portal procedures.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and professional accounting software
• Language: Fluent in English
