JOB SUMMARY:-

The Accounts Assistant will support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, assist in statutory compliance, and ensure accurate documentation as per company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain books of accounts including cash book, bank book, and ledgers

Prepare and record purchase, sales, journal, and expense vouchers

Assist in bank reconciliation statements (BRS)

Handle vendor payments and follow up on outstanding balances

Assist in GST compliance:

GST purchase & sales entries

GST reconciliation (GSTR-1, GSTR-2B)

Support in return filing

Maintain accounts receivable and payable

Assist in monthly closing and MIS reports

Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits

Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices and vouchers

Support payroll processing (attendance, salary sheets, deductions)

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of basic accounting principles

Familiar with GST, TDS, and statutory compliance

Proficiency in Tally / ERP software

Good knowledge of MS Excel

Attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work under deadlines

Good coordination and communication skills

Qualifications:

B.Com / M.Com (Preferred)

Experience: 1–3 years in accounts (Manufacturing industry preferred)

Work Environment:

Office-based role

Coordination with stores, purchase, HR, and management teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
