Key Responsibilities

  • Pool of Accounts Assistants working together to ensure transactions for the group are processed efficiently and correctly;
  • Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance department by assisting peers, management, and finance leaders in identifying and implementing improved processes and procedures
  • Support the month-end close process, including reconciliations and ledger review.
  • Process supplier invoices and credit notes, ensuring accurate GL coding. Ensuring all invoices that relate to future periods or potential fixed assets are saved in the relevant folders and communicated accordingly.
  • Complete supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Perform Accounts Receivable tasks including invoicing, credit management, and chasing overdue balances.
  • Review D365 debtor aging reports and provide commentary.
  • Dealing with and resolving site queries and requests as required.
  • Company credit card support, including but not limited to making sure that all receipts are provided in a timely manner.
  • Support audit requests and provide documentation as required.
  • Maintain own workflows list, with priorities and timelines summarised, and send to managers for review and discussion on at least a weekly basis.
  • Work closely with manager to agree priorities, workplans and outputs.
  • Maintain orderly finance records and perform regular ledger housekeeping.
  • Manage finance inboxes to ensure timely and professional communication.
  • Support cross-functional teams to resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
  • Assist with documenting and improving finance processes.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts support, AP/AR, or similar finance role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting processes and reconciliations.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with strong organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
  • Experience with accounting systems (D365 preferred but not required).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
