Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Clerk to join our finance department. As an Account Clerk, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks to support the financial operations of the organization. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Process and maintain financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare and verify financial documents, such as invoices, receipts, and bank statements.
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate recording of employee payments.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Handle inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial transactions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and comply with policies and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience working in an accounting or finance role.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with colleagues and clients.
