In this entry-level position, we are seeking your creative and detail-oriented talents to support our Social Media Managers and grow within our small company. In this support role, you will learn how content is created and implemented across several accounts. You will coordinate across multiple departments and be responsible for client content hitting the social feeds. We expect you to be up-to-date with the latest social media trends. Get Community is a full-service digital agency serving the homebuilding industry, based out of Orange, California.
Responsibilities
- Owns the coordination and execution of social media content publishing, including routing content for revisions and approvals, applying required tags and optimizations, and ensuring all content is accurately scheduled and published on time across client platforms.
- Provides project coordination support to Account Executives on billable client work, assisting with scheduling, task management, and cross-functional communication as responsibilities grow over time.
- Supports Social Media Managers in maintaining consistent brand execution by collaborating with internal teams (marketing, creative, video, and media) and external client contacts to ensure content aligns with approved strategy and brand standards.
- Manages day-to-day engagement on client social media channels, including liking and engaging with relevant content, following appropriate accounts, reposting approved content, and responding to comments and messages in a timely, professional manner.
- Monitors social media trends and platform updates and proactively communicates relevant opportunities to Social Media Managers to support timely and trend-aligned content creation.
- Coordinates video content publishing across short-form platforms, including uploading videos and thumbnails to YouTube Shorts and supporting distribution across Reels and TikTok.
- Conducts regular audits of client social media channels to ensure profiles, links, highlights, and content are current, accurate, and aligned with brand standards.
- Executes paid social support tasks as assigned, including boosting approved posts on Facebook and Instagram in alignment with campaign goals and budgets.
- Manages monthly setup and coordination of Content Retainer projects in Teamwork, ensuring projects are created accurately, timelines are aligned, and deliverables are properly scheduled to support on-time execution.
Qualifications
- Excellent copywriting /editing skills and hawkeye proofreading skills
- Understanding of creative, engaging content (text, image and video)
- Experienced and comfortable on all social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, LinkedIn and more
- Experience with Meta Business Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical and organizational skills
- Strong initiative and ability to work on multiple clients with daily deadlines
- College degree in Marketing or relevant field

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
