INNOCEAN USA, a full-service advertising agency, located in sunny Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a Freelance Digital Account Director, to join our growing team!
This is a long-term, ongoing contract role. We are a hybrid workplace, x3 days week in office. Candidates must be local to SoCal.
The digital account team is responsible for website, mobile, and other digital product executions for our automotive client. We are a team of specialists and subject matter experts with a deep understanding of our clients’ business and user behavior across our digital properties.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Digital Account Director oversees the efforts of a team in executing work on behalf of our clients. The ideal candidate has previous experience in an agency or client services environment and will have managed multiple teams across a variety of digital / web projects simultaneously to successful completion.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the teams as they update the website with new model-year content, brand campaigns, enhancements to the site and maintenance.

Build and utilize a solid understanding of the client’s business, major customer segments and competitive set, as well as business information (qualitative and quantitative) used by clients in their day-to-day activities and stewardship of the brand.

Provide marketing and creative recommendations based on customer, channel, business and brand insight.

Help drive marketing and creative strategies based on relevant customer and marketing insight (ROI, impact, etc.).

Demonstrate shift from project management to client management and the ability to cross-sell/up-sell additional services or program enhancements.

Create high-impact client presentations.

Collaborate with other teams within the agency to deliver effective .com experiences, including brand teams, strategy, media, etc.

Identify new business opportunities within current client engagement to deepen the relationship. Leverage agency and client knowledge to identify growth opportunities and sell in new services.

Manages entire programs independently, adhering to agency process, working effectively with all capabilities and using their expertise appropriately.

Ensure team members take personal accountability for on-time, on-budget, quality execution.

Proactively manage and communicate between scope, schedule and budget with clients, partners and internally, on an ongoing basis.
- Act as day-to-day client resource/advisor, with regard to capability area/level.

Partner with clients in a positive, professional and constructive way, establishing solid long-term relationships.

Understand and articulate client strategy and steer it with insight when required.

Demonstrate flexibility and “read” situations in order to react appropriately and solve issues.

6+ years of experience managing large scale website builds and digital products in an agency environment, with a total of 8+ years working experience

Ad agency background
-
Working technical knowledge and experience in artificial intelligence, augmented reality, CG, and mobile applications is preferred

Experience and understanding of SEO best practices and applications

Previous experience in a management role

Demonstrated success building productive relationships with clients and agency team members

The salary range for this role is $132,000 - $182,000. Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: client budget, experience, training and/or transferable skills.
