Job Description & Requirements:
As our Account Executive, you are the engine for our next phase of growth. Your mission is to drive the next wave of our success by securing new, security-led recurring revenue from clients who fit our ideal client profile. This isn't about just closing deals - it’s about starting partnerships the right way.
You will:

Own the entire sales process, from building a robust pipeline to running a smooth, transparent discovery process that puts our client's needs first.

Be the Quarterback: In an environment of mutual respect, you will work hand-in-hand with our technical and account management teams to design and deliver high-quality proposals that ensure new clients are set up for immediate and long-term success.

You are explicitly tasked with translating a prospect's business objectives, compliance requirements, and risk tolerance into a CyTek solution that delivers true business resilience, all while protecting our margins and service standards.

Core Responsibilities & Areas of Focus:

Drive Net-New MRR Growth: Execute a full-cycle sales motion specifically designed to increase CyTek’s Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) through the acquisition of new, security-focused clients.

Pipeline Development: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and networking, ensuring a consistent flow of opportunities that align with CyTek’s ideal client profile.

Strategic Alignment & Discovery: Collaborate with solutions architects to conduct rigorous discovery sessions to deeply understand prospect business objectives; explicitly align CyTek’s service model, security standards, and risk management strategies with the client's specific compliance requirements and risk tolerance.

Represent Cytek: Professionally represent CyTek at industry, business, and community events.

Proposal Quality & Margin Integrity: Construct and deliver high-quality proposals that solve complex business problems while adhering to internal guidelines and pricing structures.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate closely with Technical and Account Management teams, Solutions Architects, and others during the pre-sales process to validate technical feasibility, ensuring proposals are realistic and executable.

Client Success Handoffs: Champion the transition from "prospect" to "partner" by delivering detailed documentation and expectations to the service team, ensuring new clients are set up for immediate success. Assist in new-client onboarding as necessary.

Executive Reporting: Report directly to the President & CEO with transparency regarding pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and market feedback.

Market Education: Act as a trusted advisor to prospects, educating them on the modern threat landscape and the value of CyTek’s layered security coverage and managed services.

Internal Education and Collaboration: Educate the CyTek team internally regarding market trends, patterns in the market’s pain points, and the evolving MSP landscape as it impacts our direction and ability to positively support our clients.

Solution Design: Collaborate with engineers to design secure, compliant infrastructure solutions (including Azure, M365, and layered security) that address specific client pain points.
Preferred Experience
-
3-5+ years of experience closing deals in IT Managed Services, Cybersecurity, or related technology services.

A proven history of consistently exceeding quota through a combination of strategic outbound prospecting and cultivating referral networks.

The ability to lead a rigorous discovery process, aligning a prospect's business objectives, compliance needs, and risk tolerance with a tailored technical solution.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a natural talent for making complex technology clear and compelling to business leaders.

A creative, solution-oriented outlook and the drive to work with a high degree of autonomy.
