Account Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for both companies.
• Manage day-to-day accounting entries in Tally (or preferred software).
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor invoices, and customer payments.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable.
• Petty cash management.

Taxation & Compliance

• Prepare GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliances on time.
• Assist with audits (internal, statutory, and GST) and ensure proper documentation.
• Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and government authorities as needed.

Payroll & Employee Expenses

• Process employee payroll and reimbursements.
• Maintain accurate records of salaries, advances, and statutory deductions (PF, ESIC).

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist management with budget planning, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis.

Cross-Entity Coordination

• Allocate and track shared expenses between VidUnit Media and PunToon Kids.
• Support inter-company transactions and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, content, e-commerce) to ensure financial accuracy across departments.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in media, e-commerce, or startups.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, Zoho Books, or other accounting software.
• Strong understanding of Indian tax laws, GST, TDS, and compliance.
• Excellent Excel skills and analytical abilities.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Ability to handle multi-entity accounting.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
