Accounting Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally / accounting software
- Record sales, purchases, receipts, and payments
- Prepare and verify vouchers, bills, and invoices
- Maintain cash book, bank book, and ledger accounts
- Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS) regularly
- Site Accounting
- Site GRN Inward and Outward Inventory Checking
- Bank works
Compliance & Taxation Support
- Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
- Support TDS calculations, deductions, and filings
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and statutory compliance
- Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants
Payroll & Expense Management
- Assist in salary processing, attendance-based calculations, and payslips
- Track employee expenses and verify claims
- Maintain PF, ESI, and statutory records (if applicable)
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare monthly financial reports and summaries
- Track accounts receivable & payable
- Follow up on outstanding payments
- Maintain organized physical and digital records
Coordination Tasks- Office & Site
- Support management with MIS reports
- Coordinate with vendors, clients, and banks
- Handle basic banking work (cheques, deposits, online payments)
- Assist in budget tracking and cost control
