Position Overview

As an Account Executive , you will drive new revenue growth by securing new client partnerships and expanding relationships with existing accounts for Direct Hire and Temporary staffing services. You’ll manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and outreach through closing—while collaborating closely with executive leadership to execute strategic sales initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment and enjoys high-volume outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person networking. You’ll bring a proactive, disciplined sales approach along with genuine enthusiasm for helping clients build strong teams.

Compensation: $55,000–$65,000 base salary (commensurate with experience) plus uncapped commission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow new business opportunities using a consultative sales strategy
  • Prospect and engage decision-makers through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, networking events, and client visits
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from initial outreach to contract execution
  • Research target companies and identify key stakeholders
  • Strengthen and expand relationships with current clients
  • Stay informed on Chicago market trends to uncover new opportunities
  • Coordinate creative marketing initiatives and client engagement efforts
  • Partner with internal recruiting teams to align client needs with available talent
  • Represent the company at industry and networking events

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1–3 years of sales experience, ideally in a high-activity, transactional sales environment
  • Demonstrated record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience in B2B sales strongly preferred
  • Confidence in cold outreach and relationship building
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated, goal-driven, and strategically minded
  • Ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously
