Account Executive — ConnectBooks

ConnectBooks helps Amazon sellers run accurate bookkeeping and inventory accounting through QuickBooks. We're a profitable, growing software company, and our customers include some of the biggest sellers on Amazon — among them the #1 seller in the pet category. We're looking for a sharp Account Executive to take ownership of our inbound sales.

The Role

Every lead you talk to has already raised their hand. There's no cold calling and no prospecting — your job is to take interested prospects and turn them into customers. Day to day, that means:

• Running demos for inbound leads who reached out to us
• Selling on value, not features. Our buyers don't care about software specs — they care about wasted inventory, hidden profit leaks, and flying blind on their numbers. Your job is to find that pain and speak to it
• Closing on the call when you can, and following up with real discipline when you can't
• Looping in our sales engineer when a conversation gets technical
• Handing customers off cleanly to onboarding so they stay

Who You Are

• Ideally 2+ years of experience as an Account Executive
• A genuine closer — you know how to qualify a lead, get under the surface of their problem, and ask for the sale
• Technically capable. You don't need a QuickBooks background, but you do need to pick up a complex product quickly
• High-energy and fast-moving. We work at pace and you'll need to match it
• Secure enough to say "I don't know — let me find out and get back to you"

Compensation

• $75K base salary
• Commission of 100% of a new customer's first month, plus 5% recurring
• $150K OTE, with real room above that for strong performers
• Inbound only — no outbound prospecting
