Accounts Executive (Construction Industry)
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations in our construction company. The role involves handling purchase orders (PO), work orders (WO), GST compliance, vendor payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. The candidate from a construction industry background with strong knowledge of accounting processes is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and manage Purchase Orders (PO) and Work Orders (WO) entries in Tally.
- Enter 2A purchase entries and reconcile with 2B bills downloaded from the GST portal.
- Verify vendor invoices and follow up with suppliers for pending or incorrect bills.
- Maintain detailed records of all vendor bills, purchase entries, and payment transactions.
- Assist with outstanding bills management and ensure timely vendor payments.
- Support the accounts team in bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GST filings, TDS deductions, and statutory obligations.
- Coordinate with project/site teams for bill approvals and work-related expense tracking.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports related to payables and vendor accounts.
- Assist in internal/external audits with accurate documentation and records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (mandatory).
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
- Hands-on experience in Tally Prime and GST compliance.
- Strong knowledge of PO/WO accounting, vendor reconciliation, and statutory returns.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to coordinate with vendors, site teams, and management effectively.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and GST portal operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).

Salary pay range: 3 Lakhs to 4 Lakhs per annum

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
