Account Head

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Head of Accountant to lead and manage the company’s accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and ensuring accurate financial management in line with UAE regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS standards
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow management
• Handle VAT filing, returns, and ensure compliance with UAE regulations
• Supervise junior accountants and review their work for accuracy and compliance
• Support external audits and coordinate with auditors when required
• Analyze financial data and provide management with reports and strategic recommendations
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial planning

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA, CMA, or ACCA qualification is an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and UAE VAT laws
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
