Overview

We're looking for an Account Management Intern to support client work and help keep projects organized, accurate, and moving forward.

This role sits at the intersection of client communication and project execution. You'll work closely with the Account Manager to translate project updates into clear client-facing communication, make sure details don't slip through the cracks, and support reporting and quality assurance across accounts.

You'll start by learning our systems and supporting day-to-day account work, then take on more ownership as you get up to speed.

What You'll Do

  • Draft and manage meeting recaps and action items, with clear next steps and accountability
  • Help maintain and update an Account Management dashboard that tracks key updates, risks, and client dependencies
  • Review creative and deliverables from a client's perspective — checking for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with what was promised
  • Support client reporting by pulling data and building initial drafts
  • Identify and flag risks, inconsistencies, or missing information across projects
  • Organize files and maintain clean, structured documentation across accounts

Essential Qualifications

  • Strong written communication skills — clear, concise, and non-academic
  • High attention to detail and a habit of catching errors before anyone else does
  • Organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
  • Ability to learn new tools and systems quickly
  • Writing samples that show practical communication (emails, content, etc.)
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to draft, edit, or organize work efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating written content for a real audience (social media, newsletters, blogs, client work)
  • Experience managing tasks or deadlines in a professional, academic, or extracurricular setting (internships, student orgs, freelance work)
  • Comfortable working in Excel or Google Sheets, including:
  • Basic formulas (SUM, AVERAGE, IF)
  • Sorting and filtering data
  • Cleaning and organizing datasets
  • Creating simple tables or trackers

Preference will be given to students:

  • Enrolled in a school in Westmoreland/Fayette County, PA.
  • Residing in Westmoreland/Fayette County, PA.

Pay: Up to $15.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
