Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and service-oriented Account Manager & Sales Representative to join our team. This hybrid role combines account management, client service, and new business development. You will manage a book of business, ensure clients receive exceptional support, and proactively pursue new sales opportunities. Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Client Service
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients across multiple industries.
- Conduct policy reviews, handle renewals, and ensure accurate and timely policy maintenance.
- Resolve client inquiries, provide coverage guidance, and deliver an exceptional service experience.
- Build strong relationships based on trust, expertise, and responsiveness.
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities through referrals, outreach, and networking.
- Develop tailored insurance proposals and present solutions to prospective clients.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and meet or exceed production goals.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and community activities (as needed).
Administrative & Operational
- Prepare and process applications, endorsements, and quotes accurately.
- Collaborate closely with carriers to ensure competitive pricing and coverage options.
- Maintain detailed CRM records, activity logs, and follow-up schedules.
- Stay informed about market trends, carrier products, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Experience in insurance, account management, or sales preferred (commercial lines experience highly valuable).
- Active insurance license (Property & Casualty) or the ability to obtain one promptly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and work independently.
- Sales-driven attitude with a desire to grow revenue and expand client relationships.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a smaller company environment where flexibility and teamwork are essential.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
