About the Role

To drive meaningful business results by developing and nurturing relationships with predominantly existing national retail accounts across the US. Proactively and creatively identify new opportunities for growth with customers while maintaining existing programs. Collaborate with the sales team to execute sales strategies aligned with the Company's business strategy. 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Customer Support:

·      Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally. 

·      Assist customers in product inquiries, order tracking, and issue resolution. 

·      Provide exceptional customer service to build and maintain strong client relationships. 

Sales Team Assistance

·      Collaborate with sales team to prepare sales materials and proposals. 

·      Support the sales team in prospecting, lead generation, developing sales plans, sharing sales ideas and conducting market research. 

·      Be an active participant in key sales, process and inventory forecast meetings.  

·      Assist in managing sales calendars, appointments, and meetings. 

·      Assist in the preparation and coordination of sales events and presentations. 


Sales Data Management

·      Maintain and organize sales records, documents, and databases. 

·      Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and prospect information in the CRM system. 

·      Analyze sales reports to identify trends and opportunities. 

·      Assist in tracking sales targets and goals. 


Sales Coordination

·      Coordinate with various departments, such as marketing and logistics, to ensure smooth order processing and delivery. 

·      Assist in the preparation of sales contracts and agreements. 

·      Participate in sales meetings and provide input when necessary. 

·       Become cross-trained on other key processes within marketing, forecasting and supply chain.   


Other duties as assigned 

About You   

Essential Skills and Knowledge: 

·       Bachelor's degree required.

·       2+ years of sales experience, preference given for strong, existing retail relationships.

·        Proficient with MS Office Suite. 

·        Harness excellent communication skills, including active listening and effective problem-solving & analytical ability, as well as an ability to engage with team members when issues arise.

·       Strong focus on providing customers with superior support and service.

·       Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively with tight deadlines.

·       Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail. 

·        Thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

·        Exhibit a tenacious work ethic and an unwavering drive for success.

·        Embrace a growth mindset, readily adapting and adjusting to new situations.
