Account Manager

Job Purpose

To define, develop & manage strategic relationship with contract partners with the aim of developing new and existing business to maximize revenue and drive tactical activity and performance against set department targets.


Job Responsibility

  • Drive organic growth by building and sustaining strong working partnerships with key decision makers of contract portfolios by holding regular face to face reviews. Ensuring meetings are set in advance, well prepared, and agenda set. All minutes and actions to be distributed and followed up in a timely manner.
  • Sets Strategy for each account within your portfolio focusing on growing Dulsco market share and developing long term strategic partnerships with customers.
  • Effectively create, Manage, Track and Report on progress of account development plans. Ensuring that these plans continue to be reviewed & developed in with changes to the customer needs, Dulsco strategy changes. Ensure all relevant teams in our business are included and aware of plans or specific actions for them.
  • Input accurate and complete information in customer relationship management system Delivering enhanced data quality and customer insight and feeding back market intelligence.
  • Manage your relationship with colleagues across Dulsco organisation.
  • Lead a team of Operations Managers to ensure delivery of daily operational requirements in line with contract obligations.
  • Be subject matter expert on customer contracts within your portfolio and act as a touchpoint for escalation of issues.
  • Accountable for ensuring all timesheets and invoices are accurate and submitted on time to relevant stakeholders. Whilst liaising with relevant client contacts to ensure all invoices are paid on time.


Qualifications and education requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years account management or equivalent commercial experience (desirable).
  • Health & Safety Qualification (desirable).
  • Knowledge of the GCC market/industry and its related rules & regulation.
  • High level of IT literacy with excellent Excel and Data Manipulation capability.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Commercial acumen. Proven ability to spot and interpret market trends.
  • Track record of procuring deals & contracts.
  • Sales experience acquired through a variety of roles.
